Andal Ramon

Andal Law Office Ramon V. Andal Ramon Andal was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1982 and the Ontario Bar in 1989. He opened his own boutique litigation firm in 2006 after 16 years as a Bay Street litigation lawyer. In public service, Ramon served as presiding lawyer member of the Board Of Inquiry (Police Services Act) which adjudicated complaints against police misconduct, and the Consent and Capacity Board which heard reviews under the Mental Health Act and Health Care Consent Act. Ramon was Contributing Editor of the leading text, Insurance Law in Canada, and the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest Insurance Title. He has been cited as an authority in insurance law by courts including the Supreme Court of Canada. He received the Canadian Bar Insurance Association Award and the London Life Insurance Company Prize for his legal writing. Ramon regularly acts as coverage and monitoring counsel for policy holders and for Canadian, U.S., and U.K. insurers in complex commercial insurance cases.
