Great Wall Chinese Food

Our first order and we enjoyed emensley.... Specially the Fried Rice, not burned like others... Usual place for Chinese food, Shanghi, but we aint going there anymore... You have a great menu and great prices... See ya soon Art

So I noticed that there hasn't been a review for Great Wall since October 2008. I feel like it needs some recent praise. We ordered from here on New Years Eve 2009, as a last minute idea. We had to wait a while for our food, but didn't mind because it is spectacular! Some other patrons were not so patient, even though the staff tried their best to accomadate. So, anyway....eat here, because it's still awesome!

We have been ordering from the Great Wall since 1989...when we moved out of london to where we live now just outside of strathroy..and cravings for Chinese food must be satisfied at this Great Wall restaurant. Its definitely worth the drive. I dont mind its take out only... we order plenty just to have leftovers the next day! We've tried different establishments.. not more than I can count on one hand only...Great Wall is the one and only Chinese in London.. beats out any other sit downs in town as well... Our family hopes you never change a thing.. except to maybe add new items to the menu but we stick by our usual....Love you guys.. staff is the best...If you pay in cash.. you always get a discount off your order too!

This I have to save is my most favorite place to eat. Take out/delivery only. The food is excellent fresh and delicious and the customer service is amazing. My family orders from Great Wall at least twice a week, they are very familiar with us. The man and woman that deliver the meals are also very nice and personable. Great Wall is a hidden secret but I have started spreading the word. It is the only place I will order chinese food from. I cant get enough of the shrimp fried rice, amazing. All the food is delicious. I cant say enough good things about this place. Great Wall has Great Food!!! My family and I will continue eating from there and recommending this fine establishment!!!!

We have been ordering from great wall for several years although food is consistent. We were not informed of the unnecessary fee included ("service fee"). This fee definitely prevented us from giving them a tip. They weren't the friendliest, but the quality of food made up for it.

Rice with chop suey and pork bits and egg rolls and chix triangle...my oh my so delish! I did’nt even know they existed until i actually figured they were in the alley way! The food is so good fresh and hot when ordered (im eating it as i write this!). I’m not a big Chinese food fan but this has definitely changed my thoughts about the food! The chicken triangles melt in your mouth with a creamy like sauce that is inside and it’s amazing i could eat a thousand of them! The people are nice and the place is a busy all the time! Definitely a hidden little gem in London! Menu doesn’t have as much as some places but that’s good . Simplicity is key and it means everything is always fresher!! So go there and eat the best food ever!

I have been going here since I they opened 30 years ago so that should say something. The food is always fantastic and the service is top rate. Now, they even remind me that I like to leave out the MSG and mushrooms when I forget. Whether it is a late night snack of egg rolls and WonTon soup or a full meal, we always enjoy the meal. My only problem...we go so often, what do you do with all the plastic soup containers?

My parents have been going to the restaurant for approx. 30 years - they have moved from the city - now that I am back in London (their daughter) it is great that The Great Wall is still exactly the same!!!!!!

The best Chinese food in London. Take-out or delivery only. I order from here at least once a week. Food is cooked fresh when you order. Veggies are cooked crisp, not soggy. Batter is crispy, not doughy. Staff is friendly and service is usually quick.

The beef with mushrooms was fantastic. egg rolls were..meh..alright. The tai dop voy was okay.. the rice tasted a bit burnt and they didn't give the 5% discount even after saying i would get it over the phone. (used debit instead of cash)...overall not bad food. nothing to write home to mom about but okay food.

Excellent restaurant. I order from there all the time. At least 3 times per month.
