Calvary Nursery School

At Calvary Nursery School we respect each child's individual needs. We work together with families to help build a sound foundation for each child's future. Since play prepares children for academic learning, our play-based learning environment is a child-directed approach using the ELECT (Early Learning for Every Child Today) continuum of developmental skills. The curriculum is planned using observation and documentation of children's activities and interactions. This supports children in the development of skills across broad developmental domains (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and communication/language) to align with the OELF (Ontario Early Learning Framework) in preparing children for school.
