Bill's Towing

Bill's Towing opened in 1964, in a small gas station in downtown Palo Alto. Bill's first truck was a 1956 Chevy with a hand crank. Bill Gass was born and raised here in the Bay Area. Growing up in Palo Alto has given him a vast knowledge and pride in the community.Over the last forty years, Bill has added trucks to the fleet as well as built close relationships with some of the best repair and body shops in the area. Bill's Towing also takes pride in having some of the most professional and highly trained drivers in the area. Bill's daughters, Lisa and Amy, were raised in the tow truck, riding along with Bill from the time they were born. In 2000, Lisa joined the Bill's Towing team full-time in the office and Amy followed in 2002. They take pride in their teamwork and customer service. In 2003, Lisa became a Director for the California Tow Truck Association, Greater Bay Area Chapter. She is now the new general manager of Bill's Towing Service and is also serving on the Board as Secretary and Treasurer for the Greater Bay Area Chapter. Today Bill's Towing has a well-earned reputation for quality work and is recognized for having wide range of services. We are conveniently located in Mountain View for easy access to Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Stanford, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Sunnyvale, Menlo Park, Portola Valley. We provide car or truck towing and recovery, motor home towing and recovery, and motorcycle towing. We also offer lock out and road service so call us if you are locked out or if your car is out of gas, has a dead battery, or has a flat tire.
