Useless Service Call
2nd opinion tech sent out by Whirlpool Disdainful-his comments were: "don't know why the other tech would change THAT part"; (although it did help a little) "water is too cold to dissolve detergent so don't use the energy saving feature"; " I usually do service in the city where everyone uses their dryers; "see the machine is filling up". He had no interest in listening to our issues or looking at the samples of how terrible the clothes looked. He called Whirlpool and indicated that the machine was working as it should. End of story. Did a load after he left and SAME issues, lint, dry spots and detergent not dissolved, even after following his "expert advice". Called Leon's to see what they suggest we do and guess what full credit for the machine from Whirlpool... must have been something wrong.

Excellent service
Called these folks after 5:00 p.m. and was told I'd get a call back. Got a call back within the hour. Was told they'd be at my place the following afternoon and I got a call in the am saying they were available. Darted home and all was done within 1/2 hour. Very nice tech. Most impressed by this groups service as oppose to other I have tried.

Very rude customer service agents.
I have been dealing with Home appliance care for a few weeks now. And after the run around, I finally decided to cancel my appointment. The cust service reps act as though they are doing you a favour and are so patronizing and rude. Getting the appointment for a technician to diagnose my appliance was an issue. The cust service rep was so rude to me, and even hung up the phone on me. A technician finally came over, gave me a diagnosis and told me he had to order a part. I have been waiting for this part for a week. They told me it was going to be available today, so I took the day off. After calling a few times this morning to find out the status, they told me they had to cancel the appointment because they got the wrong part - and did not even bother to notify me - I had to call them to find out. That wasn't even the problem - it was the way the cust service rep told me off, like as if I was bothering her. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever had in my life! Will never use this company again!!!

wonderful experience
I called a different company and they could not repair my stove after 2 months of trying out different parts. I was referred to Home Appliance Care by a friend. I called and they booked a service call for me the next day. The technician was very informed and was able to repair my gas stove with parts he had in his truck. The stove has been working great ever since. I usually do not bother with writting up reviews but I thought in this case it was worth it. I will certainly call them back.

Reliable company
I had 3 estimates to fix my refrigerator and I picked this company because they were more professional than the other two. My bill was 565.00 compared to one company that wanted 1220.00 and the other company wanted 975.00. They came and fixed the Refrigerator and it's working fine for over a year. The other two companies told me "Throw it out" and buy another one. To replace this fairly new refrigerator was 2800.00. I'm glad I chose the right company. I highly recommend Home Appliance Repair. They were efficient and honest.

Clearly states before doing any work .....
Clearly states before doing any work that there is no warranty on the workmanship, even if the technician screws up, since I bought the part for the appliance.
