Kim Shan Chinese Buffet

the person who says the washrooms are dirty and the food was cold is full of it..I,ll bet it that review is from a local competitor trying to damage Kim Shams excellent reputation...i have been goin ther for a long time....the food is excellent ...always hot.. the service is great....VERY polite servers nice people....the mens washroom is as clean as anyone can expect ....a very well run establishment...1 out of 20 exellent reviews....you be the judge

Ok....the place needs to be updated and the food was cold!!!!!! The Service was poor.....and the bathroom was dirty thats all i can say!!!! i would not return but i hear the take out is good......

This has been our favorite Chinese Food place for years. We travel in from Brantford, even for takeout, because it's better at Kim Shan's! Love their buffet, they have a small assortment compared to the biggies, but what they do have on their buffet is what I'd be looking for anyway. I'm into quality vs quantity. They keep an eye on the quantities, refreshing the buffet as needed, so it's always fresh. I've found their selection of breaded items is way more palatable than at other places, because there isn't as much 'dough', thankfully. The service is great, imho. You finish your plate, go up for another, and by the time you get back, your plate has been cleared. In my opinion the servers actually work harder here, than the ones at typical restaurants, where they only need to take your order, serve you, check up once, and then clear. These guys are kept hopping, refilling your beverages, replacing your plates, etc. So don't forget to tip them! We've tried ALL the others, and there isn't another place that comes close, for our family's tastes!

We order delivery from here fairly often. The food is generally good. There have been an instance or two where the food wasn't the greatest.

Food was good, hot, and definatly fresh. The waiters were a bit lacking, but come on, I`m not that big of a pessimist. Other than that, its an amazing little place!

Found this place on my GPS late one evening, on my way home from work. I was hesitant since the food in most buffets is cold, hard and dried out by that time of evening.(8:30 pm) It turned out to be the best buffet I've been to in a very long time & very reasonably priced. I'll definitely go back!

i dont eat out much, but when i do...i go to kim shan! the prices are great, and i stopped being able to taste food ages ago...so pretty much it all tastes the same to me!

I work in the ancaster area and tend to order from Kim Shan a lot. Their food is very tasty and always piping hot. Wether i dine in, pickup, or have a delivery i am always satisified with their service, and quality of food. One thing i must say is you get a lot of food for the money you pay when you compare this restuarant to other chinese restuarants in the hamilton area. Their lunch specials are also cheap and you get a lot; enough for 2 meals, depending on how hungry you are.

Had the buffet. Great selection of food for a fair price. Delicious and great service. I go here on a regular basis; you wont be disappointed!

Great food; however, there could be a better proportion of meat to noodles in the Ciao Mein. The food was cooked quickly with helpful and friendly service. I would return again.

Ordered take out, was here in 45 minutes hot and fresh and since I live in their free delivery over $20 area range that was an added bonus. will definitly order from them again!

This place is very good if it is late at night and you need some good, solid food to go home with. The best time to order is late, when it is not busy, because the quality suffers when there is a crowd. They have the best potato salad that I have had since my grandma died. The seafood is iffy, cuz I found that they burned my seafood nuggets to a crisp.
