Clarence came from humble beginnings. Born on the family's homestead in Acton, Clarence wanted wheels before he could drive, and he has had them ever since, in fact, many of them. Clarence built the company from scratch when he inherited a 1954 black Dodge from his father, and transported five students to four local schools, and often said 'if the dog wanted to go, he would take the dog too!'
