The Royal George has come a long way to be recognized as a top Venue in the Winnipeg music scene.We are one of only a handful of venues in Canada to have live music 7 nights a week. We feature a variety of different styles. Once known as a blues bar alongside the nostalgic Blue Note Cafe, The Royal George has expanded its acts to include Top 40, Country, Folk, and Rock.Each night of the week features something new and different.It's a place for the musical connoiseur to enjoy big name acts in an intimate environment. It's also a place for those with a little less musical inclination, to just come and hang out with friends, play some pool, darts, VLTs, have a few drinks, and hit up the dancefloor.Established in 1913, the Royal George commemorates its musical history and Winnipeg Community spirit with a collage of records, signed pictures, and memorobila that cover every square inch of the walls.
