West Vancouver's done good
The food was really good. I had the prawn main, as I though there wasn't much to pick from. The saucy ribs just fell off the bone. I didn't need a knife, but I thought it was a little small. Dessert was small, but really good. Overall, I think the food was especially outstanding to want to go back. The waitress was boring and chubby. Come on man! Service was pretty Ok tho. I thought the value was quite reasonable as it was dine out Vancouver, but I think I will go there for a regular menu. May not return.

It was quite the experience we had at this place...
It was quite the experience we had at this place. The place is right on the water and the decor is beautiful. The server was good when it comes to selling the products and the menu. The appetizers were great, simple but well done. The main's were tasty and the portions were a fair size. Unfortunately, we all ordered the same main, Braised Beef Ribs over Risotto, and the slowest eater in our party found a fly under his last rib piece. What a downturn to a great meal. The server looked stunned and not knowing what to do. He actually said "Its extra protein," to us. We called the manager and he comp'd us the meal plus desserts and a bottle of wine. It was a decent recovery attempt. Will I go back? Maybe, but with all the restaurants in Vancouver (and there are far too many) it might be a while
