Testing and Balancing is the process of testing flow and pressure rates in ventilation and hydronic systems and adjusting them based on a design set out by engineering practices.A properly balanced mechanical system will operate more efficiently and afford the occupants a comfortable environment in which to operate. Improperly balanced mechanical systems will be more costly to operate, provide erratic, noisy operation and will not provide the comfort levels set out in the original design.
