If you have never been to the Pacific Institute...
If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island. I went there recently and ordered the following: Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9) Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19) Wine: Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8) This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.
