My natural eyelashes are *very* fair - if I'm not wearing mascara it almost looks like I have no eyelashes. In the last few weeks, I've spoken with 3 women who all have lash extensions. What amazed me about each of them was that they looked so natural. After speaking to the third woman with lash extensions, I decided that I would give it a try. It's not that expensive and the set should last me about 4 weeks, as long as I follow the care instructions. It takes about an hour and a half to get the set put on - the lashes are glued on to your individual lashes. (My lash tech was Ashley.) The next day after I got them, people at work were asking me what I had done - they could tell something was different but they couldn't tell exactly what it was. My eyes just really pop. The best thing was that I heard from a few different people (after I told them they were lash extensions) that "they look so natural". To me, that's the sign of a good beauty product - in my opinion, there's nothing worse than beauty products that look fake, so to hear that they look natural makes me happy. I'm not much of an eye-makeup person, and now that I have the lashes I don't have to wear eye makeup - even better. It's been 8 days since I got them done and I just love them. I wish I had taken a "before" picture so you could see what my "naked" lashes look like. But, you can check out the pics below. The first one was taken on the first day I had them, and the second one was taken on Day # 8. I've only had to change a couple of things - you can't stand in the shower and let the water hit you in the face - that will make the lashes pop off. And you have to use a q-tip to clean your upper eyelids, but other than that, it's not a hassle to have the extensions. I went swimming last night (no goggles) and my lashes are doing just fine. What's neat about this shop is that lashes are ALL they do. They are definitely experts in lash extensions, and I'll definitely be back to get my next set.
