Original issue was no pilot light. After three visits from Universal and after paying $1,064, issue of pilot light still unresolved. First Visit: Universal did general cleaning, repaired pilot light and inspection of furnace at cost of $229.60. Results: Pilot Light still malfunctioned. Second Visit: I called them and complained that pilot light was still not working, on their second visit, they changed gas valve and charged me for a new one at a cost of $648. Results: Still pilot light malfunctioned. Third Visit: Different technician from Universal arrives at my home and i say to him "the last guy installed a new gas valve" The technician looks at the furnace and says "You don't have a new gas valve" so then he proceeded to install a new gas valve. Then Technician gives me a bill for $185. Results: Pilot light still malfunctioning. I called Mike at Universal after their third visit and informed him that my pilot light was still not working after three visits and he said "We will send someone back to your house" I then told him i did not want anyone from his company on my property anymore as he lied about putting on a new gas valve and never correcting the issue after 3 visits and $1,064 in service and parts bills. I demanded a refund and he (Mike) said " No i will not refund your money" I want all my money back from all the lies and deception from Universal. I have all these new parts in my furnace but the original issue with the pilot light still remains unresolved.

They will never compromise on quality and they have a strong focus on customer service. Highly recommended

I had a problem with my water heater. I called Universal and they had a service man out in no time. The job was far less complicated than I thought and done very quickly. Good guys to call when you need quick honest service.

I am so thankful for Universal Heating...My elderly parents were having so many problems in their condo since they moved in 15 years ago. yeah these guys are good they take care of our apartment block ,they installed a new boiler system and its cut our hydro bill plus no more cold showers!
