The agency was originally owned by Don Egan under the name of Egan Insurance and changed to Jon Harris Insurance when Jon Harris became a partner in 1970. In 1989, the name was changed to Harris and Leib Insurance Brokers when Ken Leib became a partner. In 1999, Jon sold his shares to the I.C. Financial Group and focused on his notary business until retiring in 2007. Today, Harris and Leib Insurance Brokers is a local business with access to the insurance products offered by much larger insurance brokers. Our partner, Intercity Insurance Group, owns over 55 offices across BC.
