Bad customer service! I went to What a Bloom's website to track my order and no status came out so I called the Toronto phone number to track it but was told they don't have the status either. I was then given this Burnaby flower shop's phone number that was to deliver the bouquet that day at the school address I specified on the order form. A woman named Diane answered and told me she didn't have the status either -- this was at 2:30 pm -- and asked me to call back in 30 minutes as she needs to check with the delivery guy. I told her that the delivery address is a school, as I specified in the order form, so it needs to be there before school day's over at 3pm. Time passed and I called back Diane who said this delivery guy doesn't know the status either as the bouquet was to be delivered by another delivery guy. Talk about passing the buck! I said, "so, that's it?" She said yes but there shouldn't be any problem. Not very encouraged with that reply I then called the school's secretary to ask if there was a delivery made to this teacher celebrating her birthday that day. The secretary said she's been in the whole day and didn't receive any flowers on behalf on anyone that day. While still on the phone, she said, "wait a minute, a truck is pulling into the parking lot." She kindly checked for me and it was the bouquet, finally delivered at 3:15. She told me the delivery guy was sorry for the delay because he "was not told the delivery address was a school." Yes it was a relief to have the bouquet finally delivered before the recipient left the premises but had I not made these calls I am not sure it would have been delivered on time. No customer should be left wondering whether her/his ordered will be fulfilled or not!
