Wecan Food Basket Society Of Alberta

he Board of WECAN Food Basket Society undertook fund raising to support the food order and the operation of the depots. We incorporate a social enterprise component by providing our depot coordinators and depot drivers food orders. Currently we receive funding from a number of sources although the food order continues to be self –supporting.The Grocery People (TGP) was approached to provide the meat and produce offered in the program. This relationship continues to this day.
