Kal Tire

I bought tires from them and when I got a flat tire, they told me I had to leave my car. Instead, I took the tire off myself and used my spare. Left the flat tire with them. It was the next day when they called. Thought they were going to put it on for me, well I thought wrong. Had to bring it home and change the tire myself. So much for free tire repair service. First and last time I will buy tires from them.

Dropped my vehicle off at 7:30am. Kal Tire called at 1:00pm and said the vehicle was ready to go. No charge, valve stem replaced. Excellent tire shop. If you can leave your vehicle, and if you can get there when the doors open, the service is perfect. Only problem is parking, as the location is surrounded by small businesses.

We were told when buying our snow tires that Kal Tire would change our tires over with the change of season at no charge. Sounds like a great deal...I took my car in at 11:00 this morning and have now been waiting for 3 hours for this to happen. I called and was told it would probably be another hour. Is having a 'free' service worth 4 hours of my life? Faced with doing this twice a year I am concluding that there is no such thing as a free service and will look to alternatives in the fall, even if I have to pay. Given the level of service I don't think I would buy tires from Kal Tire again
