Barb & Ernie's Restaurant

Ok I don't write reviews but this place is great! My wife and I were having breakfast on a Thursday morning at about 10:00 am and the place was packed! I guess we are not the only ones that discovered this place! O and be careful when you order, one pancake will feed a small family!

Being German and never submitted a Review please forgive if my english is not perfect, but I do feel this Restaurant deserves a mention from all 7 of us and I was pict to writhe this Review. Wen we arrived at 5.30 on a Saturday evening the place was quit full but we were seated with in a short time. Having to go to a Show at 7.00 we sure started the evening right. We all started with a German Beer on tab and ordered our Dinner with in 15 min. Appetizers were served 10 min. later. Super service.Appetizers mh mh good. Shortly our Meal arrived and we all agreed this was better German Food than you will get in many German Restaurant, even in Germany. The Schnitzel were cooked to perfection,The Munchener Schlachtenschussel was delightful the Beer was delicious. Just like at Mums home in Germany. And I din't even talked about the incredible Service we 7 had.Barb+Ernie are a wonderful Couple which served us with pride, you can only find in family operated Businesses . Please forgive me, butt I almost forget the incrediable Apfelstrudel we had for Dessert.Do not eat so much as the Strudel is a must. Can't go to Germany this Year? For German Food this is the next best thing anywhere in Edmonton. We made it to the Show on time with plenty time to spear.Should have one more Beer.
